Helping single parents feel more confident and better prepared for the future.
The project supports single parents in developing practical skills that really make a difference
The Fortunate Parent project is all about helping single parents feel more confident and better prepared for the future.
We want to make it easier for you to take part in community life, find good job opportunities, and access both formal and non-formal learning - even when life is busy.
The project supports single parents in developing practical skills that really make a difference: career planning, financial literacy, digital abilities, and even starting a small business. At the same time, we work with educators and NGOs so they can offer better, long-lasting support to single parents in their communities.
The project creates two tools:
Both tools are adaptable, so they can be used in different countries and situations. They also promote green practices to make eco-friendly choices in learning, working, and even in starting a business.
The goal is simple: to give single parents the support they deserve and to strengthen the people and organisations who stand beside them.
